As a global leader we’re looking for a ETL developer to join an exciting project for replacing existing Data warehouse systems with the Oracle’s own data warehouse to manage storage of all the internal corporate data to provide insights that will help our teams to make critical business decisions Join us and create the future!
Role and Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will use basic knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture. You will carry out following responsibilities as a Software developer.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries for data extraction
- Proficient in writing scripts using Python (PySpark) for implementing algorithms
- Understanding the requirements
- Understanding the Technical Design
- Developing the code that aligns with the technical design and coding standards
- Conduct Peer-Code Reviews for early detection of defects and code quality
- Documenting ETL processes and data flow diagrams
- Optimizing data extraction and transformation processes for performance
- Performing data quality checks and debugging issues
- Conducting root cause analysis for data issues and implementing fixes
- Collaborating with more experienced developers on larger projects
- Participate in the requirements, design and implementation discussions
- Participating in learning and development opportunities to enhance technical skills
- Test storage system after transferring the data
- Exposures to Business Intelligence platforms like OAC, Power BI or Tableau
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics and Communication or equivalent is preferred
Qualification and Requirements
BI (Business Intelligence): Expertise in designing and implementing BI solutions to transform data into actionable insights.
Data Warehouse: Skilled in creating and managing efficient data warehouse systems for optimized data storage and retrieval.
Debugging ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving ETL process issues to ensure data accuracy.
ETL Development: Experienced in developing robust ETL pipelines to automate data processing workflows.
Python (Programming Language): Adept in leveraging Python for automation, data analysis, and backend development.
RCA (Root Cause Analysis): Strong ability to perform RCA to identify and resolve underlying technical issues effectively.
SQL Queries: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
